Welcome to the Mount Florida Poetry Journal, an online poetry journal run from Mount Florida in Glasgow. We are keen to provide a place for poetry, criticism and reviews, not just from Mount Florida, but across the Southside, Glasgow, Scotland, and, indeed, the World.
We welcome submissions at any time and plan to update what we include in our online journal on a quarterly basis.
Submission guidelines
- We are happy to receive all manner of submissions. In particular we would like to encourage submissions of long form material, and so do not require that a line limit is observed.
- Simultaneous submissions are acceptable.
- Please email submissions to submissions (at) moflopojo (dot) com.
- Include a short (e.g., 50 to 150 words) biographical note with your submission.
- We aim to respond to submissions within a month.
- If you have not heard from us three months after your submission you may assume it has not been successful on this occasion.
- Submission indicates that you:
- Hold the necessary rights, or have permission from the holder of the these rights, to submit the material you are submitting.
- Confer on Mo’ Flo’ Po’ Jo’ a non-exclusive licence to publish what you have submitted.
- Indemnify Mo’ Flo’ Po’ Jo’ from any and all liabilities that may arise if these requirements listed above are not fulfilled.
